I. Write short

muscles, but still retained in the limbs, greenish yellow discolouration was
seen in the right flank. What is the appropriate time since death, from the

alleges that he was hit on the head with an iron rod; on examination, an open wound
with clean cut margins is seen on the scalp in the occipital area. How will you
decide whether the allegation is true or not? (2)

alleged case of rape of a 25 year old female, the accused pleaded that he had
done sex with her consent. The blood examination of the victim soon after the
act showed alcohol level of 200mg%. Comment on the criminal responsibility of
the accused. Which criminal court has the jurisdiction to conduct the trial of
such a case?

body was found in water. Autopsy did not show any signs of inhalation of water.
However the autopsy surgeon opines that it could be a case of drowning; your
comments.
